All lanes of southbound Ga. 400 at Holcomb Bridge Road have reopened following an accident involving a pick up truck and a tractor-trailer, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation website .

However, longer than normal delays remain, GDOT said in a bulletin posted on the website.

Delays extended to Haynes Bridge Road, Mark Arum in the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center said.

"Motorists traveling southbound on GA 400 are urged to use alternate routes or allow extra time for travel," GDOT said in the bulletin.
