All four northbound lanes of I-285 past Lavista Road in DeKalb County have reopened following a late-morning accident involving two cars and one truck.

The crash, which happened shortly before 11 a.m., initially blocked all northbound lanes. One lane reopened just before 11:30 a.m., and two more were opened around noon.

The fourth lane was reopened at 12:05, but northbound traffic remained backed up for several miles.
