All eastbound lanes of I-285 remain closed after Friday morning's deadly plane crash at Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.

Traffic on eastbound I-285 is being diverted at exit No. 27 (Ga. 400) and can re-enter the interstate at Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation website.

Motorists who are already on southbound Ga. 400 should use northbound I-85 as a detour. The roadway is expected to by cleared and open to traffic by 8 p.m.
