The Wildwood Revival festival will return to Cloverleaf Farm just outside of Athens this fall.

The event – heading into its sixth year Sept. 27-29 – spotlights a lineup including Lucinda Williams, Shovels & Rope, Mandolin Orange, Son Volt, Langhorne Slim and The Lost at Last Band, Rayland Baxter, Rebirth Brass Band, The Texas Gentlemen, Charley Crockett, Lilly Hiatt and many more.

The idea behind the festival is to honor Athens’ storied music scene through “music, food and friendship” and curate a lineup that veers from country to blues to gospel to rock to hip-hop. In addition to the stage performances, there are late-night picking sessions around a campfire to entertain attendees and an artisan market with vintage clothing, antiques, woodworkers, 1800’s-era tintype photography and leather makers.

Camping is encouraged, but nearby lodging is available as well.

Tickets start at $92; VIP tickets include access to a 7,000-square-foot antebellum mansion, catered meals, complimentary alcohol and private bathrooms.
