Hours after canceling the remainder of his 2016 tour , Kanye West has reportedly been hospitalized "for his own health and safety."

NBC News reports that West is under observation at a Los Angeles-area hospital. According to the report, Los Angeles police responded to a medical welfare call around 4:20 p.m. ET. There was no criminal activity involved, but the decision was made to hospitalize West.

West’s hospitalization follows a week of increasingly erratic behavior from the superstar rapper. In the past few days he’s ranted about Beyonce and Jay Z, endorsed President-elect Donald Trump after announcing he didn’t vote in the election, walked off stage after 30 minutes during a concert in Sacramento and abruptly canceled a Sunday show at the L.A. Forum.

West performed in Atlanta in September on the first leg of his Saint Pablo Tour. He was slated to play Philips Arena again on Dec. 8 until the Monday tour cancellation.
