How the game was won: The Wolves prevailed in a low scoring defensive battle. BEST cut the lead to two with 5:02 minutes remaining, but like they did the entire game, Wesleyan's defense did not allow the Eagles a chance to take the lead.

Top Performers: Harrison Cook led the defense with an interception and a fumble recovery both coming in the first quarter. …Jordan Weaver made a 35-yard field goal with 6:50 to play in the second quarter. …Jordan Argilagos found the end zone on the ground with 31 seconds remaining in the second quarter to give the Wolves a 10-0 lead at the break.
