Eagle’s Landing Christian outfielder Dazmon Cameron and Columbus shortstop Alonzo Jones were named Friday to play in the 2014 Under Armour All-America Game at Wrigley Field in Chicago on Aug. 16.

Cameron, the son of former major league outfielder Mike Cameron, is one of only two players who played in the game last season and is viewed as a potential No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 Major League Draft. He hit over .400 with seven home runs on ELCA’s Class A private state championship team in 2013.

Jones, a junior, is known for his speed. He has been timed at 6.33 seconds in the 60-yard dash.

Several Georgia players have played in the game. Those include Austin Meadows of Grayson and Clint Frazier of Loganville, each who were drafted in the top 10 of the June Major League Draft.

The game, which features two 18-player teams, will be televised on MLB Network.
