The Touchdown Club of Atlanta has announced the finalists for its Mr. Georgia Award and Little Peach Award, which will be presented at the club's end-of-year banquet on Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. at the Wyndham Atlanta Galleria.
The awards are among several that will be presented that night. Others include the Bobby Dodd National Back of the Year, Bobby Dodd National Lineman of the Year, Coach of the Year Awards to the eight state championship head coaches, the TCA All-Star Team and the George Gardner Officiating Award.
Finalists for the Mr. Georgia Award, presented to the top senior in Georgia, are: RB Steele Chambers (Blessed Trinity), QB Dylan Fromm (Warner Robins), RB Jamious Griffin (Rome), WR Jadon Haselwood (Cedar Grove), ATH Jammie Robinson (Lee County) and DE Mataio Soli (Douglas County).
Finalists for the Little Peach Award, presented to the top underclassman in Georgia, are: QB Harrison Bailey (Marietta), RB Tank Bigsby (Callaway), TE Arik Gilbert (Marietta), ATH Kobe Hudson (Troup), WR Marcayll Jones (Warner Robins), QB Carter Peevy (Archer) and QB Tate Rodemaker (Valdosta).
