Meadowcreek, a program with only four victories in a decade, set a school record for points scored in its 43-18 victory over Rockdale County last week.
"It was a great victory," first-year Meadowcreek coach Jason Carrera said. "We of course wanted them to act like they had been there before, but the student body and the fans were very excited. These kids are up against a lot, and they deserve the win, so I am really proud of them."
Meadowcreek's standout performer was QB Darion Hammons, who had a hand in all six touchdowns. Hammons' effort is one of this week's Top Performances from around the state.

*Calhoun QB Kaelan Riley was 20-of-27 passing for 254 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner in the fourth quarter, in a 24-20 victory over Carrollton. Riley rushed for 115 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries.
*Hapeville Charter QB Mack Green was 15-of-20 passing for 394 yards and three touchdowns, all to Kawaan Baker, in a 48-14 victory over Bremen. Green also rushed for 30 yards and scored a touchdown.
*Macon County QB K'hari Lane was 13-of-21 passing for 354 yards and five touchdowns in a 52-20 victory over Veterans.
*Meadowcreek QB Darion Hammons was 13-of-17 passing for 162 yards and rushed for 153 yards on 20 carries in a 43-18 victory over Rockdale County. Hammons threw three TD passes, ran for three TDs and scored two conversions. Meadowcreek lost to Rockdale 58-0 last season.
*Union County QB Joseph Mancuso threw six TD passes in a 51-28 victory over Lumpkin County. Mancuso, a preseason all-state pick, completed 13 of 26 attempts for 302 yards and also rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.

*Bacon County RB/LB Jacob Carver scored five touchdowns in a 41-40 victory over then-No. 8 Pierce County in a Class AA game. Carver rushed for 137 yards on 25 carries and took a screen pass 71 yards for his fifth score.
*Blessed Trinity QB Conor Davis was 10-of-13 passing for 211 yards and three touchdowns, one to brother Colin Davis (61 yards), one to brother Ryan Davis (39), all in the first half of a 28-10 victory over Sequoyah. The Davis brothers had seven catches for 172 yards.
*Calhoun LB Jireh Wilson had 12 tackles, three for losses, and three assists in a 24-20 victory over Carrollton.
*Cartersville RB/LB Tiamon Pennymon scored four touchdowns, one on a pass reception, another on an interception return, in a 34-31 victory over North Cobb. Pennymon also had six tackles.
*Chattooga QB Isaac Foster and RB Isaiah Foster, who are twins, rushed for 275 yards on 15 carries and four touchdowns in one half of a 32-16 victory over North Murray. Isaac ran for 156 yards on eight carries, while Isaiah ran for 119 on seven. Each scored two touchdowns.
*Dawson County sophomore QB Coey Watson was 18-of-36 passing for 256 yards and two touchdowns in a 23-9 victory over Gilmer. It was Dawson County's first victory over Gilmer. Watson also rushed for 43 yards.
*Decatur RB Grant Walker rushed for 127 yards, caught two passes for 48 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 24-6 victory over Jackson of Atlanta.
*Duluth LB Cordel Creighton had eight solo tackles, three assists, two stops for losses and a fumble recovery returned 27 yards for a touchdown in a 27-14 victory over Lakeside of Atlanta.
*Eastside QB Austin Holloway was 17-of-21 passing for 350 yards and five touchdowns, three to Josh Sims (six catches, 178 yards), in a 38-10 victory over Madison County.
*Elbert County LB Ereon Teasley forced three fumbles and had 15 solo tackles and six assists in a 34-30 victory over Stephens County.
*Etowah RB Tyray Devezin rushed for 224 yards and two touchdowns in a 36-21 victory over Cherokee.
*Fitzgerald QB James Graham rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns and was 5-for-6 passing for 91 yards in a 35-14 victory over Irwin County.
*Grayson QB Chase Brice was 17-of-23 passing for 273 yards and three touchdowns and no interceptions in a 56-21 victory over Hughes.
*Hart County WR Zach Maldonado had 10 catches for 232 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-25 victory over Franklin County.
*Hebron Christian DE John Dussling had five tackles for losses and a sack in a 35-0 loss to Commerce.
*Hillgrove sophomore QB Hunter Arters, making his first varsity start, completed 33 of 50 passes for 411 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-19 loss to North Gwinnett.
*Howard RB/LB JaQwun Stinson rushed for 148 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, had four catches for 49 yards and a touchdown and made five tackles in a 30-29 victory over Central of Macon. Stinson also scored two conversions and punted six times for a 36-yard average.
*Hughes QB Isaiah Green was 26-of-41 passing for 407 yards and three touchdowns in a 56-21 loss to Grayson.
*Irwin County preseason all-state RB/LB D.J. Pollard rushed for 180 yards on 20 carries and made 12 tackles in a 35-14 loss to Irwin County.
*Locust Grove freshman LB Logan Smith had 13 tackles (four solo and one for loss) in a 57-17 win over Union Grove.
*Loganville QB Cameron Perkins was 17-of-21 passing for 214 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-0 victory over Flowery Branch.
*Mary Persons DL Dan O'Neal had five tackles, one for a loss, another for a sack, and returned a fumble 22 yards for a touchdown in a 38-14 victory over Washington County. RB Zach Harvey rushed for 127 yards, caught three passes for 67 yards and scored three touchdowns.
*Mill Creek PK Brenton King made field goals of 50 and 22 yards, was 4-for-4 on extra points and had four touchbacks in a 34-7 victory over Dacula.
*Model RB Chris Dublin rushed for 163 yards on 21 carries and scored four touchdowns - one an 84-yard kickoff return - in a 49-35 victory over Christian Heritage.
*Mount Paran Christian RB/DB Taylor Trammell rushed for 208 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries and intercepted a pass in a 42-18 victory over North Clayton.
*Mount Vernon Presbyterian QB Jacob Cavender was 12-of-15 passing for 291 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-7 victory over Towns County.
*Newton WR J.J. Holloman had seven catches for 147 yards and three touchdowns - including a game-winning 77-yarder with 19 seconds left - in a 35-33 victory over Rome. QB Romario Johnson was 18-of-30 passing for 285 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 60 yards.
*North Forsyth RB Simon Holcomb rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns and scored a fourth touchdown on a 52-yard reception in a 27-17 victory over Chattahoochee.
*Northview sophomore RB Emeka Nwanze rushed for 281 yards and three touchdowns on 29 carries in a 54-31 victory over Habersham Central.
*Northwest Whitfield WR Will Blanchard had six receptions for 202 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-13 victory over Cedartown.
*Prince Avenue Christian RB Kevon Hudson rushed for 113 yards on nine carries and scored three touchdowns, one on an 85-yard kickoff return, in a 48-12 victory over Oglethorpe County.
*Rabun County RB/LB Eli Gipson rushed for 161 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries and had seven tackles and an interception and broke up a pass in a 35-10 victory over Mount Pisgah Christian.
*River Ridge WR Davis Polley had six catches for 224 yards and two touchdowns (71 and 31 yards) in a 34-28 loss to North Atlanta.
*Riverdale QB Joseph Cambridge was 23-of-36 passing for 296 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-19 loss to Thomas County Central.
*Screven County TB Malik Prescott rushed for 253 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries in a 42-0 victory over Westside of Augusta. Sophomore QB Armani Bunbury had 131 yards rushing on seven carries and threw two TD passes.
*South Forsyth DE Cameron Kline had five sacks, two other tackles for losses, and forced a fumble in a 21-6 victory over Centennial. Kline had nine tackles overall.
*Tattnall County RB Darius Mincey rushed for 225 yards and four touchdowns on 24 carries in a 34-6 victory over Beach.
*Upson-Lee QB Kalen Puckett set a school record with a 95-yard TD pass to Wyquavious Battle in a 37-0 victory over Pike County. Puckett was 8-of-13 passing for 170 yards and scored a touchdown.
*West Forsyth QB Kiernan Hamilton had 339 yards and five touchdowns passing in a 43-39 loss to Alpharetta. He was 12-of-16. Three of his TD strikes went to Austin Reid.
*Winder-Barrow RB CeCe Green rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries in a 45-0 victory over Apalachee.
*Woodward Academy sophomore LB K.J. Phillips had 13 tackles, two sacks and two QB pressures in a 36-29 overtime victory over St. Pius.
*Worth County FB Justin Hope rushed for 247 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries in a 42-23 loss to Lee County.

*Fitzgerald's starting six of LT Carl Smith, LG Chandler Hough, C Kobe Burch, RG Jason Poe, RT David Echeverria and TE Lecitus Smith paved the way for 450 rushing yards in a 35-14 victory over Irwin County. Fitzgerald (3-0) is averaging 465.3 yards rushing per game. QB James Graham and FB J.D. Hill have rushed for more than 100 yards in every game.
*Mundy's Mill's offensive line of LT Ashton Darnell, LG Matthew Marley, C Marquavion Reed, RG Antoin Hawkins, RT John Kelly, RT Jadarius Mitchell and RG Sylvester Hill opened holes for 100-yard rushers Marqarius Crutchfield and Khalid Hylton in a 35-20 victory over Central Gwinnett.
*The Pickens offensive line of RT Zayne Burtz, RG Andrew Hasbrouck, C D.J. Walden, LG Zach Betts, LT Zach Henley, RT/LT Connor Head, TE Bradley Ragano and TE Cortlin Norton led the way for 517 rushing yards in a 52-28 victory over East Hall. Junior RB Chris Pitttman ran for 224 of those yards and three touchdowns.
*South Effingham's offensive line of LT Sheldon Froliech, LG Tike Mydell, C Luke Kush, RG Josh McClendon and RT Jacob McCloud paved the way for their team's 541 yards of total offense - 342 rushing, 197 passing - in a 37-13 victory over Southeast Bulloch. RB Patrick Brown rushed for 204 of those yards.
*Walton's offensive line of LT Forrest Evans, LG Alex Roegge, C Clark Price, RG Blake Landon, RT Patrick Farley and H-back Sam Letton was critical in 533 yards of total offense (318 rushing, 215 passing) in a 34-20 victory over Lassiter.
*Woodward Academy's offensive line of T Knox Hagan, T William Berkey, G Myles Ferrell, G Shiva Punttagunta, C Josh McCullough and TE Stephen Elliott provided the lanes for Elijah Holyfield's 183-yard, four-touchdown performance in a 36-29 victory over St. Pius. As a team, Woodward rushed for 219 yards on 22 carries.
