How the game was won: Thomson's Bill Mance scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter. Mance's touchdown was followed by an 18-yard touchdown run by Rahsad Sturgis to give Thomson the 14-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Top performers: Mance scored two touchdowns for Thomson and had 100 yards rushing after the first half. … Sturgis had two rushing touchdowns and threw a 43-yard touchdown pass to Trey Parker in the third quarter.
