Strong Rock Christian has promoted defensive coordinator Tommy Webb to replace head football coach Mark Miller, who resigned.

Webb was head coach at Fayette County from 2003 to 2011. He also has been head coach at Riverdale and Jonesboro.

Strong Rock, a private school in Locust Grove, started football in 2007. The team has made one playoff appearance but never had a winning season. The Patriots were 3-7 in Region 5-A in 2013 under Miller, who had come from Woodward Academy in 2011.
