Region 8-AA weather update: Tourneys to resume Saturday, end Monday

Region 8-AA tournaments will resume on Saturday at Rabun County with semifinals play. The championships and third-place playoffs will be played on Monday at Rabun County.

Region 8-AA was able to complete all first round games Monday by abandoning the original plan of Rabun County hosting the entire tournament and dividing games up between Rabun County, Greene County and Jefferson. The semifinal round was originally slated for Friday and the championship and third-place playoff games were to be played Saturday.
