How the game was won: After Columbia's Will Tomlin hit Daniel Harris for a 3-yard touchdown pass with just over 8 minutes to play in the fourth quarter, bringing the score to 23-15, the Golden Lions thwarted the upset minded Eagles with a Lawson Cooper 1-yard touchdown run, capping an 11-play, 80-yard drive that took  6:11  off the clock.

Top Performers: Lawson Cooper carried 22 times for 116 yards and two scores. …Reed Egan went 2-of-2 for 31 yards. …Grant Holloman rushed 10 times for 57 yards and one touchdown. …Ryan Walsh added a 1-yard touchdown plunge to open up the scoring at the  7:01  mark of the first quarter. …Columbia was led by Will Tomlin, who completed 6-of-12 passes for 65 yards and one touchdown while adding 35 yards rushing.
