How the game was won: Mill Creek jumped out to a 21-0 lead after one quarter and a 31-0 advantage at halftime before a running clock put away visiting Duluth in the second half with little suspense. Duluth amassed just nine total yards prior to the intermission and finished with 40. The Hawks, by contrast, racked up 294 total yards.

Top performers: Joe Thomas of Mill Creek had three touchdown runs on just six carriers while going for 31 yards. ... The Hawks also got a 30-yard scoring jaunt from Tre Alston. ... Cameron Turley completed 10 of 13 passes for 145 yards and he threw a 24-yard scoring strike to Edmond Graham during the first quarter. ... Mill Creek kicker Brenton King converted all five of his extra points and booted a pair of 34-yard field goals.
