McEachern 34, Lowndes 11

How the game was won: After a slow start, McEachern scored two late touchdowns to close out the first half with a 21-11 lead. Their offense continued on its role in the second half, while their defense held Lowndes from scoring after an early second quarter field goal. Lowndes jumped out to an 8-0 lead after a three-yard rushing score by James Camon and a two-point conversion. They then led 11-7 following a 46-yard field goal by Will Solomon before conceding the lead for the rest of the game.

Top performers: McEachern running back Sam Jackson provided the spark offensively that got the Indians out of their sluggish start. He totaled three touchdowns in the game, including an 11-yard reception in the first, and two rushing scores in the second. …Quarterback Bailey Hockman accounted for three total touchdowns in the game. He threw for a score to Jackson, tossed a 25-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Smith in the third, and caught a touchdown pass on a trick play pass from Smith in the third as well.
