How the game was won: Lanier's Ashton Barnes ran for a 43-yard touchdown with 11:52 left to seal the win. After Lambert had a 30-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the first quarter, Lanier tied the game on a 14-yard Tahj Tolbert touchdown pass to Noah Fritz in the second. Lanier pulled ahead on a 26-yard A.J. Paschall field goal late in the third.

Top performers: Barnes rushed 19 times for 121 yards and a score. … Tolbert completed six passes to five different receivers for 68 yards and a score and rushed for 39 yards. … Marcella Baity added 59 rushing yards for Lanier.
