How the game was won: Jake Fromm (Alabama commit) led Houston County as the Bears opened up a 16-0 lead in the first quarter and pushed the lead to 43-6 at half. Fromm threw five touchdown passes in the first half.

Top Performers: Fromm completed touchdown passes to Eli Watson (2, 13, and 26 yards) Chris Brinson (16, 25 yards) and Amari Colbert (1 yard) and finished with 406 yards of passing in the first half on 25 of 35 attempts... Jordan Strevig added a 24-yard field goal. ... Houston County also recorded a safety in the romp. ... South Effingham found scoring from Patrick Brown on a 71-yard rushing touchdown.
