GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

1. Who is/was the most influential person in your coaching career?"My high school football coach from New Jersey, Mike Sheridan. He taught me how to work hard and prepare to win, but most importantly he taught me to put God first in my life and keep things in proper perspective."

2. Who is the best Georgia player you ever faced?"Lemuel Walker from Charlton County. I faced him in '04-'06. He was the most physical runner and refused to lose and would take over the game no matter who the opponent was."

3. What is the best team you ever faced as a coach?"The '04-'06 Charlton County team was the best team I've coached against. They had great players at every position and were well coached and prepared every week."

4. If you were Gary Phillips, the new head of the GHSA, what would be the first rule that you would try to change?"Separate private and public schools for the playoffs. Let everybody compete in region classifications and use power points like Class A does. Go 1-5 public-school champions and big and little private-school champions."
