GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.
Steve Pardue, East Coweta
1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "That is a tough question. I have been involved in a lot of great games. If I had to pick one, it would be the 2001 LaGrange/Cedartown game. It was my first state championship as a head coach, and we had to come from behind to win the game in the last minute."
2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "This is an even a tougher question for me. I have so many good friends and guys I have coached with and against in the business. I'm going to let that one go. I will say this, there are a lot more I would want him to play for than not play for in the state of Georgia."
3. What is your pet peeve as a coach? "Not taking care of the little things."
4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "I feel there should be more restrictions in the summer. I think kids need more time to be kids. As coaches, if somebody is working, we are all going to working."
