GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

1. Who is/was the most influential person in your coaching career?"Someone that influenced me in a positive manner was the school secretary [Hilda Calloway] at Brooks County. I followed her instructions to begin my career. She paid for me to take the SAT test. Told me to attend Florida A&M University, major in P.E., pledge Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, become a coach, return to Brooks County as the head coach, and when I win a state title, then I could leave and follow my dreams." [Freeman was head coach on his alma mater's state championship team in 1994.]

2. Who is the best Georgia player you ever faced?"Champ Bailey from Charlton County."

3. What is the best team you ever faced as a coach?"Washington County, 1996."

4. If you were Gary Phillips, the new head of the GHSA, what would be the first rule that you would try to change? "Bring back the spring jamboree vs. opponents."
