Here are some of the top games involving Class AAAAA basketball teams this weekend:

- McIntosh at Drew, Saturday (boys): No. 5-ranked McIntosh is the only remaining unbeaten team in 4-AAAAA play, but Drew (11-2, 9-1) isn't far behind in subregion A. McIntosh handed Drew its only region loss, winning 76-54 on Dec. 8 behind 27 points from Jordan Lyons (committed to Furman). Drew's high-scoring guard James Ruiz had 27 points in a win over Northgate on Tuesday.

- New Manchester at Allatoona, Saturday (boys): Top-ranked Allatoona (19-0, 12-0) is closing in on clinching the No. 1 seed for the 5-AAAAA tournament, and its biggest remaining hurdle is New Manchester (14-4, 10-2), which is tied with South Paulding for second place in the region. Allatoona's Trey Doomes scored a season-high 25 points in a 58-47 win when the teams met on Dec. 12.

- Carver-Columbus at Columbus, Friday (girls): This will be the third meeting of the year between the 1-AAAAA rivals. No. 7 Columbus (15-2, 5-1) won 67-61 on Dec. 23 in the Shaw Christmas Tournament, a game that didn't count in the region standings. No. 5 Carver (16-2, 6-0) rebounded two weeks later with a 61-46 victory that is responsible for its current one-game lead in the region.

-Northside-Warner Robins at Warner Robins, Saturday (girls): Northside (12-4, 2-1) has a chance to move into a tie for first place with No. 3-ranked Warner Robins (14-1, 3-0) in subregion B of 2-AAAAA, but the Eagles will be facing a tough task after Warner Robins won 69-48 in the teams' first meeting two weeks ago. Northside has won four consecutive games since that loss.
