How the game was won: Travis Nielson intercepted a Carver-Atlanta pass with 1:51 left in the game to seal the victory for Dalton. This followed a 27-yard field goal by Isai Hernandez.

Top performers: Drake McCowan put Dalton on the board in the first quarter with a three-yard touchdown run. …The Catamounts took a 14-0 lead into half-time thanks to a fake punt that resulted in a Jase Chastain touchdown pass to Jake Myers. …Greg Payton scored the only points for Carver-Atlanta on an 18-yard touchdown run.
