The 2016 state finals were the last high school games to be played at the Georgia Dome, which will be replaced by the Falcons' new Mercedes-Benz Stadium next year. Cecil Flowe, formerly of Parkview, and Grayson's Jeff Herron will go down as the winningest high school coaches in the Dome. They've actually won more games in the Dome than six of the Falcons' nine head coaches during the Dome's history (1992-2016), including Jerry Glanville, June Jones, Bobby Petrino and Dan Quinn.
