Desmond Webb’s free throw with 16.4 seconds remaining broke a 45-45 tie, and Cooper Criswell made two more with 6.5 seconds left to give Carrollton a 48-45 victory over Cairo in the Class AAAA boys basketball semifinals Saturday at West Georgia. Masten’s 3-pointer at the halftime buzzer gave Cairo a lead, 20-19, that it did not surrender until the final two minutes of the game. Masten finished with four 3-pointers and led all scorers with 18 points. No.5-ranked Carrollton will face defending champion and No. 1-ranked  Jonesboro for the championship at 8:45 p.m. Thursday at the Macon Coliseum
