MACON - Delaney Graham broke a scoreless tie with a goal in the first minute of the second half, and Westminster (18-2-1) added two more goals to beat Blessed Trinity 3-0 Thursday in the Class AAA girls soccer championship game at Mercer University's Five Star Stadium.

Graham provided the game-winning goal 30 seconds into the second half when she took a crossing path in front of the goal and put it in the left side of the net. Miller Leeson, who barely missed high over the crossbar with 34 minutes remaining, made it 2-0 with a goal from in front just a few possessions later. Logue Shamburger drove in from the left side and scored the final goal with 16.5 seconds to play.

Goalkeeper Caroline Heller helped the Wildcats record their fourth shutout of the playoffs, during which they outscored their opponents 29-1 in five games.

The Region 4-AAA rivals split two regular-season meetings. Westminster won 2-1 at Blessed Trinity on March 25, but the Titans bounced back to win 1-0 at Westminster on March 31.

Blessed Trinity (17-4-1) has lost in four consecutive state championship games since winning its last title in 2011.
