It’s “Bragging Rights” time in Georgia high school track and field, as a number of city and county championship meets are on the schedule, with many holding finals on Monday.  Here’s a quick rundown:

Atlanta Public Schools Championships (The Atlanta Track Classic)

When: March 26 and 28

Where:  Lakewood Stadium

Who to Watch:  Kamaya Street, Mays (400 meters, 300 meter hurdles, high jump); Quazon Alkhaliq, Maynard Jackson (triple jump); Babakar Randall, Grady (100, 200); Maynard Jackson girls 1,600-meter relay

Cobb County Championships

When:  March 26 and 28

Where:  McEachern

Who to Watch:  Tia Jones, Walton (100 meter hurdles); Makenzie Dunmore, McEachern (100, 200); Alexis Jones, Campbell (100 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles, long jump); McEachern girls 400-meter relay; Khayvonn Benson, Marietta (800 and 1,600); Isaiah Rogers, Campbell (discus and shot put)

DeKalb County Championships

When: March 26 and 28

Where:  Panthersville Stadium
