Odd coincidence about Deon Hill touchdowns

Oct 6, 2014

Once his Georgia Tech career is over, A-back Deon Hill may want to ask Grant Field caretaker Jon DeWitt for a certain patch of the Bermuda grass turf that has been quite good both to him and the Yellow Jackets.

Hill scored both his game-winning touchdown against Georgia Southern and the touchdown that helped close down the Jackets’ win over Miami in practically the exact same spot of the field. On both scores, he crossed the goal line just inside the pylon on visitors’ side of the north end zone. Credit is due Mike DeGeorge, Tech communications assistant director, for pointing out this oddity.
