Georgia Tech-Jacksonville State is set to go at 12:30 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium. An idyllic day for football. Nary a cloud in the sky, temperature in the low 70's, a slight breeze and the field looks pristine.

A note or two: It looks like guard Shamire Devine will start; he was working with the first group in pregame warmups at right guard with Parker Braun at left. Devine came off the bench against Tennessee and helped ignite the Tech offense to its 535 rushing yards against the Volunteers.

A-back Clinton Lynch warmed up as well; he had missed the Tennessee game with a lower-body injury. Defensive tackle Kyle Cerge-Henderson, injured in the Tennessee game, is dressed but was not warming up with the first-string defense.

Also, looks like kicker Shawn Davis will handle placekicks; he was warming up with snapper Casey Wilson and holder Chase Martenson.

If you're looking for the game, it's on regional sports networks, including Fox Sports South in the Atlanta market. A familiar voice, Tech hall of famer Wes Durham, is on the call.

Hope you'll join us.
