Former Georgia Tech All-American Jeremiah Attaochu will make his preseason debut Thursday night with the San Diego Chargers. San Diego plays Dallas at 10 p.m. ET in a game that will be televised by the NFL Network.

Other former Tech players playing their first NFL exhibition games:

The Denver Broncos (cornerback Louis Young) play Seattle at 9 p.m. Thursday. Young was turning heads early in camp, according to the Denver Post.

The Minnesota Vikings (linebacker Brandon Watts) play Oakland Friday at 8 p.m. Watts was injured in a scrimmage this past weekend (Minneapolis Star-Tribune), but reportedly has been working with the second-string defense, according to the Daily Norseman blog.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (defensive tackle Euclid Cummings) play Jacksonville Friday at 7:30 p.m. A Tampa Bay Times report opined that Cummings is in a "wide-open" competition for the last defensive tackle spot on the 53-man roster.

The New York Giants (defensive end Emmanuel Dieke) play Pittsburgh Saturday at 7:30 p.m. A Giants blog predicted that Dieke has a "significant chance" of being let go when the team makes its first round of cuts.

The New England Patriots (defensive back Jemea Thomas) will play Washington Thursday night, but Thomas has been out with an injury for more than a week, according to the Boston Globe.

The games will be carried on DirecTV and online through NFL.com (for $19.99 for the entire preseason).
