Cobb County and Downtown Atlanta drivers face the worst of traffic, with multiple lane closures. Surprisingly, Ga. 400 won't give commuters too much of a hassle.
Here are your trouble spots:
Northwest Corridor Express Lanes
I-575
One southbound lane will close between the Sixes Road entrance and exit ramps from 8 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday and from 8 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
One southbound lane will close between Bells Ferry Road and Chastain Road from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday. A traffic pace will also take place from 10 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday.
I-75
One northbound lane will close from Wade Green Road to Alabama Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
A northbound shoulder will close from I-285 to the I-285 westbound ramp from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday and from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.
One southbound lane will close between South Marietta Parkway and Delk Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday and from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.
A traffic pace will take place from Delk Road to Windy Hill Road from 11 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday.
Alternate lane closures will take place along Terrell Mill Road under I-75 from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
One northbound lane from I-285 to Windy Hill Road will close from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. A traffic pace will also take place.
One southbound lane between Roswell Road and South Marietta Parkway will close from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. A traffic pace will also take place from 10 p.m. Sunday to 3 a.m. Monday.
South Metro Express Lanes
On I-75, up to two southbound lanes will close between Lake Spivey Parkway and North McDonough Road from 9 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday.
I-85 Express Lanes
One northbound lane will close between Gravel Springs Road and Hamilton Mill Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
I-20
One eastbound lane near Liberty Road will close from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for concrete rehabilitation.
Multiple eastbound lane closures and a traffic pace will take place between Fulton Industrial Boulevard and Windsor Street from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Multiple ramp closures will take place eastbound from the I-285 northbound ramp to Lee Street. Lane closures will take place between Hamilton E. Holmes and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive from midnight Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday and from midnight Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday for paving. The Sells Avenue and Lee Street entrance ramps will also close.
Rolling westbound lane closures will take place near Sweetwater Creek from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
I-85
Two southbound lanes will close at Virginia Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
I-75
One ramp will close between Forest Parkway and the westbound exit 238A ramp to I-75 north from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday.
Three southbound lanes and shoulder will close between the I-285 interchange and Jonesboro Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Two northbound lanes and shoulder will close between the I-285 interchange and Forest Parkway from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Two northbound lanes and shoulder will close between the I-285 interchange and Tara Boulevard from 9 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday.
Two northbound lanes and shoulder will close between Tara Boulevard and University Avenue Parkway from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Downtown Connector
At least two southbound lanes and shoulder will close between the Brookwood interchange and Freedom Parkway periodically from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
I-285
Two westbound lanes will close between mile posts 47 and 49 from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.
Two eastbound lanes will close from Airport Loop Road to I-75 from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Ga. 400
Rolling northbound lane closures will take place near Mansell Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday and from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.
Two lanes will close northbound and southbound near Encore Parkway from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Other State Routes
Two lanes will close on Anvil Road and Cedar Drive over I-675 from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for bridge rehabilitation.
