Expect to sit in traffic awhile this weekend.
Cobb County drivers are in for lengthy delays with the bulk of the traffic attributed to the Northwest express lanes work.
Most of the road work will occur overnight, but that could change due to weather, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Here are your trouble spots:
Northwest Corridor Express Lanes
One lane will close on Frey Gin Road between Wylie Drive and East Frey Gin Road from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
I-575
A traffic shift will take place between Ridgewalk Parkway and Sixes Road from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
One northbound lane will close between Big Shanty and North Booth roads from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
One southbound lane will close between Sixes and Little River roads from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
A northbound shoulder will close at the entrance ramp to Chastain Road from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
I-75
One southbound lane will close between Hickory Grove and Woodstock roads from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
One northbound lane will close between Shiloh and Wade Green roads from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
A traffic pacing will take place northbound between Chastain and Wade Green roads from 10 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday.
The southbound entrance ramp to Chastain Road will close from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The northbound exit ramp to Wade Green Road will close from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
I-285
One westbound lane will close between Mt. Wilkerson Parkway and Paces Ferry Road from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday and from 8 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.
Three westbound lanes will close between New Northside Drive and Cobb Parkway from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
Two eastbound lanes will close between Paces Ferry Road and Mt. Wilkerson Parkway from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday and from 8 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.
South Metro Express Lanes
Two northbound lanes will close between Hampton and Jonesboro roads from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
I-75
Two northbound lanes will close between Jonesboro Road and Tara Boulevard from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
One southbound lane will close between Tara Boulevard and Jonesboro Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
I-20
Two eastbound lanes will close near Fulton Industrial Boulevard leading to I-285 from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
I-285
A westbound shoulder near the Ashford-Dunwoody Road on-ramp will close from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, from 11 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday and from 11 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
