Construction will disrupt Atlanta Streetcar service beginning Thursday
Construction will cause intermittent delays on the Atlanta Streetcar beginning Thursday.
A helicopter delivering construction materials to the roof of the Equitable Building at 100 Peachtree Street downtown will affect streetcar service because the streetcar cannot proceed while the helicopter is overhead.
MARTA, which operates the streetcar, said the construction-related delays will occur intermittently from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Dec. 15. For more information on the streetcar service, visit www.itsmarta.com/streetcar.
