Here is the latest information on lane closings, and possible traffic delays, this weekend in metro Atlanta, per the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Downtown Connector

• Rolling closures on will require one northbound and one southbound lane to close from University Avenue to 17th Street from 12 a.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday and from midnight Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday.

I-20

• Two eastbound lanes and the eastbound on and off ramps will on close at Lee Road from 6 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

• Two westbound lanes will close from Windsor Street to SR 139/ Martin Luther King Jr. Drive from 12 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday,

• Two eastbound lanes will close from Almon Road to SR 12/US 278 continuously from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

I-285

• One northbound and one southbound lane will close at Flat Shoals Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 12 p.m. Saturday to set barrier wall in the median.

• One westbound lane will close from the I-85 interchange to SR 14 SPUR/SR 279/Old National Highway from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

• Two lanes northbound will close from Cascade Road to the I-20 interchange from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

• Rolling closures southbound will require two lane closures from the I-85 interchange to Bolton Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

I-575

• The Express Lanes project will require one southbound lane to close at Bells Ferry Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 12 p.m. Saturday.

I-75

• The Express Lanes Project will require one northbound and one southbound closure from SR 5/SR 5 Spur to Wade Green Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 12 p.m. Saturday.

• One lane and the off-ramps will close southbound at SR 120 Loop/North Marietta Parkway from 9 p.m. Friday to 12 p.m. Saturday for work on the Express Lanes Project.

• Work on the South Metro Express Lanes will require up to two lane closures southbound from Jonesboro Road to Hudson Bridge Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for paving and Mount Carmel Bridge demolition.

I-85

• Two southbound lanes will close from SR 139/Riverdale Road to Cleveland Avenue nightly from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for striping.

State routes, highways and surface streets

• Three northbound and three southbound lanes will close from SR 10/Memorial Drive to East Ponce de Leon/Church Street nightly from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for striping.

• The Express Lanes project will require a traffic detour at Barrett Parkway. Traffic exiting Barrett Parkway will be detoured onto I-75 southbound from 9 p.m. Friday to 12 p.m. Saturday.

• The Express Lanes Project will require a detour at Cobb Parkway. Traffic exiting at Cobb Parkway will be detoured back on to I-75 southbound from 9 p.m. Friday to 12 p.m. Saturday and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

• On U.S. 78, two eastbound and two westbound lanes will close at Mountain Industrial Boulevard from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday for utility work.

• On Candler Road, one northbound and one southbound lane will close from McAfee Road to Daws Avenue from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday and from  8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

• Median work on Freedom Parkway at Boulevard will take place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The work will not require lane closures however, motorists should drive cautiously while traveling through the work zone. and finally

• On SR 154/Memorial Drive, one lane will close from Moreland Avenue to Wilkinson Drive and one lane will close on SR 154/Memorial Drive from East Lake Drive to Candler Road. Both closures are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
