Canadians have a reputation of being some of the nicest people in the world. Need proof? A Toronto couple used their wedding budget to aid refugees. A Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer shooed a black bear from a public park by just running around with it. THIS.

Trudeau, who graced the cover of Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines' in-flight magazine last month, once let a 5-year-old turn his office into a pillow fort  and wiped away tears when reunited with a refugee he welcomed into Canada from Syria ,one of the countries from which American President Donald Trump's controversial travel ban has banned foreign nationals .

Trump was pleasant enough in person when Trudeau made a visit to the White House but more recently tweeted his intention to possibly "terminate" the North American Free Trade Agreement.

So Trudeau had to dig deep into his Canadian DNA to come up with something nice to say when asked by interviewers for his take on Trump.
