PREVIOUS COVERAGE

The funeral for U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Skip Wells , killed during a terrorist's rampage at military sites in Chattanooga, is today at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Woodstock.

The Holly  Springs Police Department is coordinating public tributes along the procession route and provided traffic alerts to travelers who may be impacted. Details below.

The Holly Springs Police Department will coordinate a public tribute before the funeral on the Sixes Road overpass over I-575.

Afterward, Wells will be interred with military honors at Georgia National Cemetery. The Holly Springs Police Department again will coordinate a public tribute and issued this traffic advisory:
