As the nation watched in horror and then mourning after a driver plowed through a group of pedestrians in Charlottesville, killing one and injuring others, Atlanta actor/rapper/restaurateur Ludacris was taking the stage.

His concert at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, north of San Diego, Calif., was planned well in advance and just happened to coincide with Saturday's violence in Virginia.

Lots of people take photos of video snippets on their phones at concerts, and Luda did as well - filming a clip of the audience. As you can see his fans represent a diverse range of backgrounds, something he pointed out as America struggles to make sense of the discord that became deadly.
