Predicting Atlanta United’s starting 11 vs. Philadelphia

Doug Roberson (@DougRobersonAJC) of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution predicts Atlanta United’s starting 11 for Saturday’s game at Philadelphia. The game will start at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN--plus.

The teams are tied atop the MLS East with 48 points, but Atlanta United holds the first tie-breaker, which is wins (15-14).

Goalkeeper Brad Guzan.

Centerback Leandro Gonzalez Pirez.

Centerback Miles Robinson, who was recently called up by the U.S. men's national team for the first time.

Centerback Flo Pogba. Manager Frank de Boer said that Franco Escobar isn’t fully recovered from his hamstring yet enough to start. He can come off the bench.

Defensive midfielder Eric Remedi.

Defensive midfielder Darlington Nagbe.

Right wingback Julian Gressel.

Left wingback Justin Meram.

Attacking midfielder Emerson Hydman. He will start in place of Ezequiel Barco, who de Boer said likely won't travel because of a muscle injury sustained in the U.S. Open Cup win against Minnesota.

Striker Pity Martinez.

Striker Josef Martinez, who has scored in 12 consecutive MLS games.
