Who will start for Atlanta United in Thursday’s MLS game against Cincinnati in Orlando?

The game will be broadcast on ESPN/Deportes, or you can follow my coverage on Twitter @DougRobersonAJC, which will be faster than your TV feed.

Here are Doug’s predictions on the formation and the first 11 for the Five Stripes.

This was challenging because manager Frank de Boer has said he doesn’t like to make a lot of changes to his starters, but Tuesday he acknowledged that these are different times.

At the same time, the conditions are so tough with the heat and humidity that Saturday’s game may have taken a bit extra out of the players, especially those who either had a lot of runs (George Bello, Brooks Lennon) or who played the whole game and ran a lot (Pity Martinez).

The formation, because de Boer said so, will stay as a 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1.

Goalkeeper Brad Guzan
Centerback Miles Robinson
Centerback Fernando Meza
Centerback Anton Walkes, in for Franco Escobar, in for fresh legs.
Right wingback Jake Mulraney, in for Brooks Lennon, for fresh legs
Left wingback Edgar Castillo, in for George Bello, for fresh legs.
Defensive midfielder Eric Remedi, in for Mo Adams, for fresh legs.
Midfielder Mathues Rossetto, in for Emerson Hyndman, for fresh legs
Attacking midfielder Pity Martinez
Attacking midfielder Ezequiel Barco
Striker Manuel Castro
