Former Louisville middle linebacker Preston Brown, who led the Cardinals in tackles last season, is set to workout for the Falcons on Wednesday in Louisville.

Also, Marcus Smith, Louisville defensive end/linebacker, told reporters that he's set to work out of the Falcons, too.

Brown, 6-foot-2, 260 pounds, led the Cardinals with 98 tackles (71 solos, 27 assists). He had 12.5 tackles for losses, 4.5 sacks, seven quarterback hits, two fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles.

He returned a fumble 48 yards for a touchdown against Memphis on Nov. 23.

Brown, who was a four-year starter for the Cardinals, played outside linebacker as a freshman and sophomore.
