FLOWERY BRANCH -- Falcons Pro Bowl wide receiver Julio Jones, who hadn't practiced since suffering a hip injury in the Green Bay game on Dec. 8, returned to practice on Friday.

He played last week against New Orleans without any practice. He caught seven passes for 107 yards.

The Falcons (6-9) are set to face Carolina (6-8-1) at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday at the Georgia Dome. The winner takes the NFC South title and advances to the playoffs as the No. 4 seed.
