Scientist and conservationist Jane Goodall will appear at an event at the Delta Flight Museum near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Sept. 21.

Goodall, who gained acclaim for her work with chimpanzees, is scheduled to give a keynote speech at the Saturday event in Atlanta.

The event is part of Goodall's Roots & Shoots youth program. Described as an event to "celebrate the power of youth to turn their ideas into action, inspire one another, and enact change," it will include workshops focused on environmental justice, human rights, urban gardening to combat food insecurity and social justice.

Delta will also include National Geographic's documentary about Goodall's life and work, "Jane," as a selection for in-flight entertainment starting this month through the end of the year.
