Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is closing off a portion of the airport roadway for brief periods on three days this week.

The Atlanta airport halted southbound traffic at Airport Boulevard and northbound traffic at Terminal Parkway for about 10 minutes starting at around noon Tuesday, and will do the same on Thursday, Aug. 18 and Saturday, Aug. 20.

The airport said the halt of traffic will allow clearing of a commercial vehicle lot, as part of Hartsfield-Jackson's $6 billion modernization.
