Mark your calendar for October! The Georgia National Fair is coming, and they’re having a flash sale on gate admission tickets starting on Aug. 15. That’s right — just $10 each! But you better act fast because prices will go up on Aug. 17.

This October 6-16, the Georgia National Fair is celebrating its 33rd anniversary at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, Georgia. This event attracts thousands of visitors from all over the state and country and this year offers 11 days of live music and entertainment, thrilling rides, plenty of food and shopping vendors, livestock shows and more!

Every day is jam-packed with family-friendly activities. Catch the strolling “Tree of Life,” whose primary goal is to inspire wonder. Root for your favorite pig at “Robinson’s Racing Pigs” — the winner receives an OREO cookie at the end of the race. Or watch Chris Lantz, an international award-winning chainsaw sculptor from North Georgia, carve works of art right in front of your eyes. While there is live music every day, legendary Kool & the Gang will perform at the Fair for the first time on Wednesday, Oct. 12, for FREE.

When you’re not at one of the countless activities, hop on a ride. The Fair has hundreds of them! There’s something for everyone, from bumper cars to a Ferris wheel to a haunted mansion. If you have a child who isn’t afraid of much, check out the ride requirements.
