If you like TopGolf, check out BigHoops at Second Self brewery

Second Self Beer Company plays host to an innovative basketball experience from Atlanta-based startup, BigHoops.
Here’s how the game works: part arcade game, part TopGolf for hoops, BigHoops pairs groups of up to six for a dynamic basketball challenge. Each player takes a turn shooting, with the hoop size, distance and angle changing after each shot. The goal can move side to side and back to front while a TV screen displays graphics.
The result is that BigHoops is fun. Lots of fun. Players of all skill levels can compete in the same game, thanks to dynamic difficulty settings based on skill, and at the end of three rounds, a winner is named.
“Basketball is a popular sport to watch, but participation drops off drastically in adulthood. Our tech-infused machine throws the traditional hurdles and pain of skill development out the window and allows all users to get back into the game and have some fun in a paced and low-pressure environment,” said BigHoops founder Paul Brown.
BigHoops hopes that the partnership with Second Self will serve as a springboard to introduce the new basketball game to the world with additional locations featuring courts, event space and upscale food and beverage plans in the future.

But for now, you can check it out at the brewery. Second Self Co-founder Jason Santamaria, who first met Brown while attending Georgia Tech, is excited to reconnect with this unique partnership. “Basketball and beer — this is a match made in heaven and a great addition to our Game Night Thursdays,” said Santamaria.
You can test out the game for yourself while enjoying tasty beverages at Second Self, located in West Midtown, Thursdays through Sundays.
