It’s been weeks since rumors of the Atlanta supergroup, Migos, splitting up started – and this latest announcement is seemingly adding fuel to the fire.

It was initially announced that the Migos would be performing at the Governors Ball happening this weekend in New York City. Just a few days ago, the official Governors Ball Twitter account announced “Due to circumstances out of our control Migos are no longer performing at Gov Ball. Updated lineup coming soon.”

This announcement sent social media in a frenzy, because it was just the latest piece in the “are the Migos breaking up?” puzzle. Rumors first came to the surface in April when Quavo and Takeoff performed at Revolve Festival without Offset. Soon after that fans noticed Offset and his wife, rapper Cardi B, were not following his group members, Quavo and Takeoff, on Instagram. Not to mention, Quavo and Takeoff announced that they were releasing new music, under a new name, Unc and Phew. Quavo and Takeoff even dropped their first official single and video under Unc and Phew, Hotel Lobby.

While speculations swirl if Migos pulling out of the Governors Ball is an official sign of their breakup, according to TMZ, “a label representative said that Migos is unable to perform at the music festival due to a scheduling conflict because Quavo is filming a movie.” This may sound like an excuse, but Quavo did announce his role in an upcoming movie about a month ago via Instagram.

Although Migos aren’t performing at the Governors Ball, show-goers are still in for an epic performance. Officials for the Governors Ball announced that Lil Wayne will be taking their place. Several other big names expected to hit the stage are Jack Harlow, J Cole, Halsey and Roddy Rich. The Governors Ball takes place June 10-12 at Citi Field in New York City.
