In the words of the great Allen Iverson, “we talkin’ bout practice.’

On Saturday, the Florida Gators held football practice. While that alone isn’t news, the fact it was held in the new $15 million indoor practice facility for the first time makes hit a historic day for the program.

To honor the new practice facility, the Gators released a time-lapse video of its construction.

Not only will weather conditions in Gainesville no longer be an obstacle for the Gators, but now they have a shiny new toy to show off to recruits.

The practice field was completed just ahead of the Gators’ Sept. 5 season opener at home against New Mexico State.
