Ohio State, TCU lead preseason coaches’ poll

Let the debating begin.

The preseason Amway Coaches Poll was released on Thursday, with Ohio State coming in at No. 1 – as expected – followed behind by TCU, Alabama, Baylor and Oregon.

The SEC is represented by eight schools, including five teams from the SEC West alone (Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, LSU and Arkansas). Mississippi State and Texas A&M took 26th and 27th, respectively.

Noteworthy: Alabama received just one first-place vote. And because of course, both Florida and Georgia Southern received the same amount of votes (2).
