UGA made the cut with Terrance Davis, the nation's No. 2 offensive guard out of Maryland. He released his top eight schools on Thursday.

And that's a pretty big for UGA because Davis' high school teammate is Anthony McFarland, a 5-star running back for 2017. Both Davis and McFarland were at UGA's Dawg Night camp earlier this month.

The other schools to make the top eight for Davis were Maryland, Tennessee, Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, UCLA, Florida and Ohio State.

Davis told the AJC that he will take an official visit to UGA in December.
