Add another surprise visitor to the guest list set for “Dawg Night” at UGA this week.

Lithonia head coach Marcus Jelks told the AJC on Wednesday night that 6-foot-6, 220-pound rising senior defensive end Jordan Smith will be at Dawg Night.

Smith ranks as a four-star prospect per the 247sports composite ranking. He’s regarded as the No. 24 weak-side defensive end for this class and the No. 25 player in Georgia. Clemson and UGA are considered the favorites.

Smith would add to an already impressive defensive line haul. UGA already has a commitment from 4-star defensive tackle Julian Rochester and 4-star Tyler Clark. The Bulldogs are seen as at least one of the co-favorites for 5-star defensive tackle Derrick Brown of Lanier, too.

Cedar Grove's Antwuan Jackson also recently had UGA No. 3 on his list behind co-leaders Auburn and Ohio State.
