DB Chad Clay (AJC)

Chad Clay, who is the son of former Georgia Tech star Willie Clay and ranked as one of the nation's top-rated defensive backs, is closing to making his college decision.

He tweeted this out on Monday night:

Clay has often listed UGA, Florida, Ohio State and Georgia Tech as his favorites.

UGA is favored in the Crystal Ball rankings at 72%, followed by Ohio State (17%) and Clemson (11%).

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Clay attends Peachtree Ridge High School, and he’s rated as the state’s No. 22 overall prospect, per the 247sports.com composite rankings.
